Serve the vulnerable populations in Mexico through partnering with local leaders.

About Reynosa

Serving outside the U.S., in a place where Spanish is the primary language, will give your group a genuine cross-cultural experience. You’ll help address economic and spiritual poverty by partnering with local churches and ministries to serve through kids’ ministries and work projects. Service in Reynosa is highly relational. Hear from local leaders about the culture—both the strengths and struggles—and what life is like for the residents of Reynosa. You’ll also have the chance to eat local food, attend a church service and share a community meal.

Serving in Reynosa

  • Serve through painting, cleaning, helping with yard work or through construction-based projects like pouring concrete or helping build homes.
  • Plan and lead children’s programming, including Bible lessons, games, crafts and reading activities.
  • Students may also serve at other local ministries, helping with ongoing initiatives.
  • Depending on the needs of the week, students may remain at the same service sites or swap between sites.

Reynosa is the largest city in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, and the 30th largest city in Mexico.

We teenagers + We communities

Teenagers need to encounter Jesus outside their normal context to deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. Plus, communities need to be valued—not as mere recipients but as partners who have stories worth sharing in.

When we bring the two together, incredible things happen.
