About Superior

Duluth/Superior is a Family Mission Trip site. By participating in work projects and working alongside local social service organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the Parks and Recreation Department, senior centers and even an accordion museum, your family will have opportunities to serve in both of these cities. Depending on the timing of your trip, there will also be an opportunity for your family to visit Canal Park in Duluth, experience Enger Tower Park in Superior and participate in a community cookout.

Serving in Superior

  • Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
  • During the week, families may serve at one or more local organizations.

Quote

“We have been so blessed to serve with YouthWorks. Their leadership and commitment to the communities we serve have brought us back year after year.”
—Susie, trip leader

We teenagers + We communities

Teenagers need to encounter Jesus outside their normal context to deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. Plus, communities need to be valued—not as mere recipients but as partners who have stories worth sharing in.

When we bring the two together, incredible things happen.
