Duluth, Minnesota has all the amenities of a big city, but offers the simple pleasures and relaxed pace of a smaller town. The scenic shores of Lake Superior offer a beautiful backdrop for the community. While the city has been consistently recognized as a great place to live, this is not the case for all residents. Poverty and economic hardship are a reality, especially for youth. You will experience a very historic and industrial city and a tight-knit community that is working to improve their city and help those in need.
