“One of our service sites in New Orleans is an urban garden in the Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, which was hard hit by Hurricane Katrina and has still not even close to recovered 12 years later. The garden helps provide healthy food to residents of this “food desert” and provides jobs for local children that may otherwise be running the streets. #YW2017” #Repost @powashyouth

We are so thankful for our partnership with @ywmissions that provides volunteer groups for us the past three summers. We had an extremely awesome time this week with this awesome crew. They not only help us serve our community but also blessed our staff as well. #yw2017 #TheYFeedsKids #bestsummerever #volunteers
