7 Ways to Pray for YouthWorks Before this Summer

 

A lot of prayer goes into the work we do here at YouthWorks – the work full-time staff do year-round, the work summer staff do throughout the weeks of programming, the work churches do to get ready for their trips, the work communities do to invite us in and welcome us to their lives. Here in the office we’re finishing up last-minute preparations for summer 2017 and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for everyone. As we come down the home stretch, here are a few ways you can be praying for our staff:

 

1. Pray for our Region Teams. Our Region Teams work all year setting up the places you sleep, eat, shower, explore and serve. Pray that they would be encouraged, be filled with energy for the summer, and see God’s faithfulness as they finalize big plans and small details.

 

2. Pray for our Recruiting Team. Pray that God would bring the right candidates for summer staff and pray for discernment as the staff are placed in communities.

 

3. Pray for our Training and Programming Team. Pray for wisdom and clarity for this team as they develop materials for the summer – everywhere from kitchen manuals to Kids Club curriculum!

 

4. Pray for our Service Center Team. The Sales Team is constantly working to get as many people to experience a YouthWorks trip as possible and to help them prepare well – so pray that they would be connected to churches – both new and returning, that God would refresh them as they serve churches, and that they would have energy to keep inviting people to come on YouthWorks trips.

 

5. Pray for our Marketing / Social Media Team. Pray for this team as they share the story of YouthWorks. Pray that people would be encouraged, be challenged, and see God’s love through these stories.

 

6. Pray for our directors. Pray for the YouthWorks leadership this summer, as they navigate the successes and challenges of the summer. Pray that they would grow in their leadership, have godly wisdom and discernment, and grow closer to God throughout this coming season.

 

7. Pray for all our full-time staff. Our full-time staff love their jobs! Pray that they would have endurance, they’d be united, and God would continue to give them vision and passion for what God wants to do through YouthWorks.
